Hi! I signed up for this wiki because I wanted to make some nontrivial changes to the way the ASH function documentation is arranged. I basically want to make a page for each data type, combining the basic description from the Data Types page, a list of related functions, and (if applicable) a list of proxy record fields. I've put an example of what I want to do at Talk:Item. Check it out and let me know what you think!
Personally, I don't see why not. It seems it would be an improvement, which one would assume is a good thing. I doubt such changes would be reverted by anyone, if that is why you are asking before doing it. This wiki seems somewhat abandoned lately. The people who could give a definitive answer seem to be MIA.
Looking at your proposed template, my only thought was that it might be nice to add some boilerplate to each type briefly explaining what proxy records are and how to use them. But maybe that's just me.
Thanks for the advice! I think I can go ahead with this little project. As for the proxy records, I will add boilerplate - directing users to the Proxy Records page.
