Should we append "(CLI)" to the title of this page, if only to be consistent with the Ash (CLI) page? (Tiny nitpick, I know) --Heeheehee 05:01, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

This issue has bothered me actually. Perhaps it would be best if there was no (CLI) in the titles of any pages for the same reason that we don't want () appended to the titles of the ASH commands. The searching issue. Instead, what we need is something like setting it up to put (CLI) after the page title on the page, but not as part of the page's name, just like we currently have () for ash commands. The wiki standard on putting stuff in parentheses is that you try to avoid it unless you would otherwise need multiple pages with the same name, in which case it's useful as disambiguation. My thought with Ash (CLI) was that at some point a page title "Ash" or "ASH" might be desired for those who are familiar with the rest of KoLmafia. Such a page would be the main thing you'd think of as "What is ASH," and would probably be a brief intro to the language.

But yeah, it's a tough call... what it mostly comes down to is how many page collisions we can expect to have. I'm guessing not many, as I don't think we need to devote a page to every CLI command as we do for every ASH function, but I'm not entirely sure about that approach. I really need some help deciding how to handle the whole CLI reference part of this wiki... anyone have any ideas? --StDoodle (#1059825) 15:02, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
